BRETT AND FLOYD ROCK CLIMBING IN TUOLUMNE MEADOWS
We climbed this moderate route (rated 5.6 on a scale of 5.0 to 5.15) on Lembert Dome, Tuolumne Meadows, Yosemite National Park, CA, in three pitches on August 1, 2004. I led all three pitches, but forgot to pull out my camera from my backpack after leading the first crux pitch (5.6). This was Brett's second multi-pitch climb. I first climbed it in June 28 (top-roped upper two pitches with campers from Camp Wawona) and July 11 (led first pitch, then downclimbed it to do another nearby route), way back in 1985 when it seemed much easier! |
