Carry On

I wish you were here

So we can share a beer

But today I drink alone

Because you are gone.

And I watch as the snow falls

Surrounded by these four walls

Growing older day by day

Ever since you went away.

Everyday is wasted

Now that painful memories have been pasted

On the blackboard of my life

Because I have lost my wife.

There is no one to share my pain

No one to dance with in the rain

No one to share my bed

And no one to carry my head.

I never realized how much I need you

I guess you never do

Until the one you love is gone

I guess there is no other choice but to carry on.
