After an epic journey - we arrived at the idyllic North Pandan island
This photo was taken on our first evening on the island. It was about 6pm & I was sitting under a palm tree on the beach with an ice cold beer!
We spent a day on Apo Reef & did 3 fantastic dives.
This is where Dad saw his first sea turtle, actually I think we saw about 15!
Great day.
Visability was in the region of 40 metres, which is why we definately didn't expect to see a Manta Ray.....
But we did! And he wasn't a little one either. We guessed his wing span was between 4 & 5 metres!
I was so excited I forgot to take photos, so this one is a bit disapointing, but as it was a highlight I have displayed it anyway!!
And when we thought the day couldn't get much better, we saw 7 or 8 Pilot Whales
