| Another reason that the universe could not be static is because of the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This is the fact that everything leads to entropy. The universe is running out of usable energy, much like a clock winding down. It is a fact that everything leads to entropy. All things lead to dissorder, nothing organizes through natural process. The natural occurrence of all things is to disorganize and randomize. Lets say you have a large sheet of paper with a drawing on it. You cut the paper into tiny little squares and toss them off the side of an airplane. The chance that those pieces of paper are going to organize on the ground and re-make the drawing are impossible. Do it one trillion, trillion times and youll get a different pattern every time, but youll never get the drawing. You see, entropy is the end result everytime. You see it in all things. Nothing gets more powerful as it goes on. Things bud, droop and die. Nothing buds, grows and just keeps growing and getting more powerful for all time. Now, if this universe is running out of usable energy (which it is) then it used to have more energy. Now after reaching this obvious conclusion, lets reach another obvious one. If this universe is running out of usable energy then one day it will run out. Say, if the universe is infinitely old, then it would have already run out, because it could never have so much energy that it didnt run out in that amount of time. Even given trillions of trillions of trillions of eaons worth of energy it would still have run out if it had infinite amount of time to run it out. Its like a gas tank on a car. Even if it had the biggest gas tank in the world it would have run out of fuel if it had been driving FOREVER. In truth, the only thing that stands correct and the only way that is even possible is the way the bible says it happened. 6,000 years ago God spoke the universe into existance and He created Man, dirt, water, dinosaurs, plants and energy all in the same week. Did you know what the word Universe means? "Single spoken sentence." Don't believe that the universe is only about 6,000 years old? Let me school you on something. Why is the oldest living tree only about 4,300 years old? Why don't we have a larger corral reef? (about 4,200 yrs old) Why is there only 0.5 in. of dust accumulated on the moon? The moon is receding a few inches a year, if the earth were billions of years old the tides would have been much higher, eroding away the continents. Saturns rings are still unstable, indicating that it is not billions of years old. The rock encasing oil deposits could only withstand for a few thousand years. The Sahara desert could have easily been formed in a few thousand years, if the earth was older we would have had much much bigger deserts on earth. The oceans are getting saltier, if the earth were more than a few thousand years old the oceans would have been alot saltier. The current population of earth (about 6 billion souls) could have easily been generated from eight people (survivors from the flood) in less than 4,000 years. (The flood was about 4,400 yrs ago.) Oldest known historical records are less than 6,000 years old. Next to Dinosaurs |
