| Pride is natural, but to be arrogant is unpurposeful. It is fine to have pride and it is true, all people have at least a little. I think. I know that pride is a touchy subject. No one wants to admit they are not the best at something or that they are not as highly as they would want. Many people are kept from doing good for another because pride tells them they shouldnt be seen with that person. Also pride can keep you from salvation. That is why it is one of Satans favorite things to give you. Let me tell you something, NO ONE is good enough to get into Heaven. Not one of us. No one is too good to serve, especially serve the one God that made them. Their is no shame in serving the God that created all things and even when we, His creation, did what was said not to, when we even today rebel from Him, His word and His will, He loves us enough to have died to save us even while we were sinners that He may spend all time with us. If your pride makes you think you are too good to worship your God then God is too good for you. But let me say this one last thing. God did not think He was too good for you when He suffered to be with you, while you were yet offensive to Him on purpose. A great Father will always love His son and will always take him in if He is asked. And what a great Father we have. |
