| She seal'd me with a kiss an' kill'd me with her wrists. Its skin was red an' torn an' blood was soft an' warm. She fed me with her tears, her droplet chandeliers an' my pain intensly grew spoke "I did it just for you" Her blood reach'd out to kiss me an intolerable kiss of shame an' the spatter'd walls rose to point the wrists that read my name. I'd gave my word, but I was wrong, that I would ne'er hurt her. It hurt, like love, to come to terms that I had caus'd her murder. O'er her body, I did weep. Ne'er her body, would I keep. O' right beside her, I did lie. Nex' to her body, I did sleep. I woke again to hold her hand, hoping she would understand. To keep her well, I would die, than live my life, forev'r damned. |
