| Requirments for performance: The participants include a priest, an alter and an illuminater. Priest is to wear a black robe, a Sigil of Baphomet and the mask of a mans face. The part of priest can be acted out by male or female, but if female is acting as priest she is to note that the part is a MASCULINE part and needs to be acted so. The alter, a nude woman, sits back facing west wall in the "Bast Enthroned" possition, she must face the gathering. The illuminater is to hold a candle and the ceremonial scripts, presenting them whenever the priest needs them. All other participants besides the alter are to wear only black. Other items needed are the ritual blade or wand, an inverted cross to place in front of the alter and a non-gold chalice. (Chalice may be made from anything at all but gold) |
| The ceremony starts with the priest facing the alter with his right hand crossed over his chest and his left hand raised in the sign of the cornu. Ranking Participant: All is silent here, O' brethren. All: So the ears of the Old Ones may hear us. Ranking Participant: All is in view. All: And the eyes of the Dead Ones have opened. (Priest turns around) (Priest presents the cornu once again and all repeat the action) Priest: We have gathered to honor thy infernal name and to pay homage to our own, highest power. Shemhamforash! Hail Satan! From you we have set forth on our own, naked and new. We, the animals of spirituality, have learned on our own. We, the two legged beasts of emotional tides, have cried and have lusted and have wrathed and have thought with help from no one. We, the creatures of unspoken power, have gained for we are in the highest kingdom, for that we have built. Ranking: We have made the law. All: We have made the law and none shall stand above us. Ranking: It is us whom we obey. All: And our enemies should tremble, for they shall be destroyed. Priest: With this I declare; (takes blade and points it to the chest of the alter and signs an inverted pentagrahm) West: Hail to Laviathan, for we are the keepers of the lake! South: Hail to Satan, for we are the guardians of fire! East: Hail to Lucifer, for we are the bringers of light! North: Hail to Belial, for we are the slaves of no one! Shemhamforash! Hail Satan! To him whos number is nine, whos birth never was nor death can ever be, we dance on the earth with the swords of men, and in our eyes their faces are of ash and their life is of no meaning. Our eyes have adjusted and we fear no longer. The realm of the Dark and the veil of unknown is come to us, and comprehension shall only seek, we. (Priest takes off mask, drinks from chalice, when chalice is passed around the Priest drains it) All: Our eyes have adjusted and we can see through the dark. We have no more need to be afraid. (all lights are extinguished) Priest: So it is done. |
| The reason behind this ceremony is obvious, to hail man as the one true God and to exclaim in the purest of pride that he is unashamed to be what he is. This is also a pay of homage to how far we, as Satanists and humans, have made it and how much we have accomplished on our own. The idea behind why I created "Heil der mann Gotten" is because I am a VERY proud person, proud to be human; the high being, proud as Hell to be a Satanist, and last but certainly not least Im proud that we as Satanists are not in the least bit ashamed to admit we are who we are; never attempting to dillude ourselves into believing that we are lesser beings (i.e. other religions succumb to thinking they are either slaves or some type of less-intellegent animal, while to me is laughable, to them is laudable) |
