| Christianity and why it is acclaimed so widely |
| If you have ever noticed the abundance of cross hugging, martyr lauders in the world today, then you are not alone. Many have asked this question and, though this is my opinion, it does make one think. One must wonder why a society that thrives on self loathe, pity, deciet and denial populates the blue earth like so many flea eggs on an Alaskan Huskie, well, here is my bit of groundwork; In 1258 Pope Alexander IV made it a case that Witches who did "evil" were to be prosecuted. This was all well and good, if you do the crime, be it magically or no, you do the time.... .....Untill it got a little rowdy in 1484, when Pope Innocent VIII put out the Papal Bull to prosecute all witches, for they were all guilty of heresy and Christian Royalty approved and allowed it. Then in 1486, the Malleus Maleficarum was written, which was the handbook for witch-hunters and said that anyone who was accused was made to confess under TORTURE and if they did not confess after a number of days (the executioners were skilled at keeping the accused alive through all processions) of brutal, inhuman torture, they were said to have gained resisting powers through the Devils Pact, witches were said to have sighned for the trade of magical abillities. These people were then further tortured and burned to death, for, they piously claimed, that God would NEVER permit an innocent person to be convicted of witchcraft. In the start of the 1500s, Jean Bodin; demonologist, anti-witch and auther of "Daemonologie" proclaimed that anyone who denied the existance of Witches (due to Exodus 22:18 Thou shall not suffer a witch to live; it was proven that god acknowledged witches) it was defient of God, and they also were guilty of heresy, thus, anyone who was accused of witchcraft or denied the existance of, "deserved the most cruel death that can be imagined" Now, it is accounted that between the 16th century and mid-18th century, up to and including 9 MILLION men, women AND children were grotesquely tortured in unspeakable ways and burned to death (childeren usually to get them to confess that there parents were witches) for being accused with, most of the time, only a pointed finger as evidence. Don't you think that, during this 250 year nightmare, a mass of amount of generations of people turned into "hardcore christians" and taught their children to never do anything opposing "the good book", out of sheer terrifying fear that someone may slip a letter into the local church black box, accusing you or your children of heresy? ......imagine, Christianity, simmering down from the burning times, would have left a lot of people on the wrong path for the wrong reasons. Though it is decreasing by the year, its no wonder why Christianity went through such a large fad. They werent allowed to do anything else! And once it was over, they didnt know much else! |

| Unfortunately, alot of this still stands true. Well, all of it, technically. That is IF you consider Catholisism Christianity. Which I will place my foot firmly down, that IT IS NOT. They believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, yes, but there are many a thing that sets them apart from Christianity. In fact, if you ask a Catholic if they are Christian, most of the time, Ive found, they reply kindly, "No, I am a Catholic." They do not share in the beliefs that Christ shared. They usually dont even read from the Holy Bible, but the 'Catholic Catechism'. They do many things that Jesus Christ spoke against and were spoken of in the Bible twice. Once as the religion of fear (as shown above, in my previous writing) and again as the 'Whore of Revelations' click here to view scriptures spelling out exactly, the Catholic church as the 'Whore of Revelations'. Know this, I have nothing against Catholic people. They, most of the time, are very well intended people. However, I do hate Catholisism. It has soiled Christs name by its actions and hypocritical beliefs. As many of you know, Catholisism is even alot like Satanism. Both believe the Church is only the building you go to. Both have similar rituals and ritual items. Pagan symbolism litters the Catholic church. Phallic symbols (the phallus or the obilisk outside), bent crosses (the Pope carries one with a disfigured Jesus on it), robed priests, worship of many deities (they glorify and pray to the virgin Mary, the martyrs of Jesus Christ and even those who died that they named saints {which the Bible states that all who believe on Jesus Christ are saints while they live}) and they even are very superstitious. So please dont confuse people who say they know Jesus (Catholics and others who do not live according to Christ) with those who know Jesus Christ and walk in his light and love. |
