Hell-o everyone, I am a Satanist from Arizona and I have been studying my religion since I was 15, almost 16 and I am now almost 21 yrs old (come march 2, 2003.) I recieved my Ministers liscence when I was almost 19 yrs. (this does not mean I am a Minister for the C.O.S., just that I have my diploma to preach dogma and I chose Satanism) and have converted many men and women (I'll not say how many as it is not in my nature to brag.) A few people have been confused with my style and religion, wandering if you are Satanic, must you also dress Goth. I answer in laughter and say of course not, my attire is merely apart of my magical sense, I am a warlock of "Sex and Wonder" and I utillize those skills through appearence to gain manipulation and seduction. Much can be gained if you are true to yourself and know what you are capable of.
On the off note, I was raised a Xtian and thus, I found from an insiders point of view how much Xtianity thrives on idiocy and blind faith. I decided to find a path that was my own, instead of being in a religion I dissagreed with merely because it was my fathers religion(which, I believe is the subject reason why Xtianity thrives like the weed it is, today) so, I set off on a what you might call a "Spiritual-Walk" I looked into every religion I could get my hands on, ranging from Buhddism, Scientology, Wiccan(this was where I got my taste for magic from) to Traditional Satanism which through pure accident I did stumble upon Modern Satanism and the teachings of LaVey. Through all of this searching, I had remained atheistic untill I was sure what made sense to me.
I had found that in all religions the worshippers were all supposed to be working for some reprecussion after their bodies had expired, what I call the "Eternal Cookie" (note that not one of them actually tells exactly what their cookie is going to be, like the bible fails to mention what heaven is even like, but condemns you if you dont want to go there.) So, if there was a heaven and hell, I would want to get on the Bus to Hell, at least it tells you what it's like there and I never walk into a room with a blindfold on, especially if the plan was to enslave me(wich is what they DO tell you about heaven.) So I would have to pass on the party that wishes to treat me like a Jew in the Egyptian rule. No, I don't think so Jehova. I've had better offers.
