Still Life |
The Water Tower |
Here is an in-class drawing I did for my Beginning Drawing class. It's a still life where we were to just keep building values with charcoal representing the shapes present, then at the end put in the details. The perspective is a little off in the chair. Eh. This is vine and compressed charcoal on paper...18X 24 |
Ehhh. That's all I can say about the quality of this photo. I definitely need to scan this one in..too many reflections and bends and dents...This was a required 10-hour drawing of a landscape...either low key or high key...for my drawing class. I picked a water tower in the distance and made a low key drawing...with an impending storm sky...though you can barely see it above. Also hard to tell: the tree on the left is in the foreground, while everything else is in the background. This is graphite on paper...18 X 24. |
