Frodos Delirium

Ring of fire, relentless,
burning in my mind,
Scorching my vision,
so that I fumble blind.
Image seared behind my eyes,
oermastering days light,
Ablaze in my dreams like,
an evil beacon in the night,
Ring of power, burdening,
I suffer its oppression,
It overthrows my resolve
to enflame this new obsession,
Struggling for my reason,
I bear this heavy weight,
For balanced on my mission,
is all of Middle-Earths fate,
Ring of invisibility, influencing,
whispers slyly of possession,
mine over it, or it over me?
Doubt is my sad confession,
Dominating my senses,
I see it wreathed in flame,
My precious calls to me,
as I reach to stake my claim,
Ring of doom, oershadowing,
I fear that I am in your thrall,
This burning lust consumes me,
My will crumbles in my final fall,
All hope has now failed,
Why havent I learned?
I am the scattered ashes,
that the fire has burned.
