(Catch the Horizon) Go and catch the horizon, let your spirit break free and fly away from the prison of your ribcage, race the wind to that twinkle in the distance, soar beyond the heights of heaven, to sing with choruses of angels, See Earth with a Gods eye view, and catch a jeweled star as it is falling, after sliding over the silvery moon, Fly over snow crested mountains and verdant valleys, Dive to the deep mermaid castles in the ocean, after drifting on returning waves that embrace you to the heart of the sea, surround yourself with bubbles and pearls, adorn yourself with coral and sunken treasures, laugh with merfolk, play with seals and sea turtles, then ride on a dolphin to an island of your own, Dance on the shore with your shadow, splashing in the spray, bask in the golden sun upon golden sands, At night build a bonfire and spin and weave around it, following the steps of your ancestors, dance until dawn with all the spirits who will join you, In the mists of dawn skip across the vast water, Find a pathless forest and howl with the wolves, leap with the deer and slumber with the bear, leave no footprint in the damp warm earth, listen enchanted to the haunting melody of the blackbird in the deep woods, feast on blackberries and climb from tree to tree, lift your voice in the morning with the merry wren, Tumble with fox cubs out into the plain, play hide-and-seek with prairie dogs among the golden wheat, Listen to the sleepy buzz of insect in the warm afternoon sunlight, See the herd of wild horse and take up their challenge, Run beside the lead stallion until your pulse is all your world, Faster and faster until your feet no longer touch the earth, Feel the wings of your spirit prepare to ride to the wind, Launch out of time to meet your destination a cool pond in the distance with a willow dipping its leaves in the fresh water, Know that you will arrive there before yourself, With a shooting star in your hand, outrace the wind, Taste the future, All possibilities are open, Set yourself free and catch the horizon when you go. |
