This girl came to us as a wedding present - along with a hefty little check, which is loooong gone. Bebe's still with us, though.  She's part Shih Tzu and Sheltie - I call her a Shih Shell.  The best mutt we'll ever have.  She's so damn good, she got the other mutts housebroken!!  How could we not love her?!?
Here's our Chi-weiner - half Chihuahua, half Dachshund.  How this girl came to us, I don't know...  I came home from work one day, plopped on the bed and she just crawled out from between our pillows... happy as a clam, tail waggin' 90 miles an hour.  We decided to keep her - or should I say she decided to keep us?

Actually, she was a pet my brother brought home, and soon tired of.  But she
REALLY did climb out from between the pillows!!  And those are antlers on her head...
Another one of my brother's discarded companions - and I ain't just talkin' about DOGS, either!!  Putput was loved by my mom and nieces, and way too much by my mom's dog, Billy Button.  Kept tryin' to knock up the poor thing, and she kept trying to run away!  My mom asked us to take her in, and we grudgingly obliged...but she has grown on us -  like a wart.  We think she's part Chihuahua and part pug.  Haven't thought of a clever nomenclature for her yet
I should probably try to explain their dorky names...  Ummmm, BeBe we named because when I first saw her as a pup, I thought to myself, "Whoa, what a BIG BUTT!!"  Big Butt - B.B - BeBe.
BooBoo - well, I thought she looked sort of butchy (she acts like it, too), and her eyes reminded me of this Chinese dessert called buchi - they're these round, circly little things.  So "bu" and "bu" became BooBoo.

PutPut - well, my brother named her that.  She looks like a PutPut...and like I said, I haven't thought of anything clever for her - as if the other two had clever names.  I feel really stupid when I'm calling all three of them...  "BeBe! BooBoo! PutPut!"

I think we'll name our next dog "Scooby".
