Hi Guys!
I made it up to Ft. Bovine( Buchanan) over the Memorial Day weekend and had a blast.
The Florida Chapter, was having an outing and the camp ground was packed. But everyone was seeming to have a good time experts and novices alike. At one point we were sitting at the fire ring drinking buttermilk, singing Koombyya.
This time we set up at the down stream end, I was majorly suprised to find mostly virgin bedrock all over down there, it seems for years dredgers have been dredging to the ' gray clay' and figuring that was bedrock and stopping. We dredged on down to hard bedrock and did fairly well :-).
I have plans on heading back up for the Labor Day weekend and dredge some more down there.
