IRELAND
Eric and Mandy's Honeymoon
During our visit to Ireland, our favorite and most memorable stop was the three days, two nights we spent in Castle Leslie. This is a real castle, built in 1663, which holds many of the Leslie family's personal items, which are displayed throughout the castle in every room. It was an amazing place to visit and we hope to go back someday. We also highly recommend it to anyone who visits Ireland.

This is a side of Castle Leslie from the garden view. We stayed the room on the very top right during our second night.
(By the way, this photograph, taken by Mandy, was chosen to be published in a coffee table picture book.)

The Mauve Room
This is the room we stayed in our first night in Castle Leslie. It was very large, and as you can see, full of old artifacts as well.
This was the view from the Mauve Room. It overlooks Lake Glaslough which means "Glass Lake".

This is the weird toilet... one of the first in Ireland!
Shane's Room

This is the room we stayed in the second night. It was much smaller, but had plenty of interesting things to look at as well.

Other Ireland Sights

This fort/castle was built in 1100 A.D. This is one of the many church steeples in Dublin.
This is by far the oldest building we've ever seen!
