Aaron Charles Carter was born on December 7, 1987, just minutes after his sister Angel. He lived a somewhat normal life until, big brother Nick got famous. Aaron would go to school and his friends would ask him for autographs from Nick. He would also go on tour with Nick and the Boys. This caused Aaron to miss out on a lot of school. When Aaron's own career started to rocket off, he got embarressed when people came up to him and asked if that was really him. His family decided it would be best if he was homeschooled by a tutor. This way, he didn't have to miss any school or shows, and didn't feel like his friends were using him.
Aaron seems to have known he would be a singer forever. A quote from when he was just ten years old says, "I've wanted to become a singer since i was very very little". Now that he's grown up and bigger than the pop world itself, he says that when he was little, he wanted to be just like Nick. He says he started singing just because Nick was doing it. When Nick started doing world tours, Aaron wanted to be with him. First he asked his mom. She took him to voice lessons. "I didn't really have to learn how to sing, I just had trouble breathing sometimes", the youngest Carter says in a semi-recent interview. Then, Nick's band, Backstreet Boys, allowed Aaron to open for them in 1997 on their Germany tour, Aaron was a hit at every show! In Berlin, a scout from Edel Records signed him on the spot! Aaron's first single came out later that year, it was titled "Crush on You" from his self-titled album, "Aaron Carter".
All of Aaron's family supports him over 110% and most times, Angel and Leslie are in the crowd watching! Aaron's mom, Jane is Aaron's manager along with his dad, Robert(Bob). Jane is the owner of 'Spectra Management' and her brother and his wife co-run Aaron's official website, www.aaroncarter.com. With all of the fame, Aaron has lost quite a few friends, but he has one best friend, that he can tell anything to. His name is Craig, both Craig and Aaron's dads fish together and they hang out a lot. Craig goes on tour with Aaron sometimes too!
Since Berlin and the Backstreet Boys, Aaron has made himself a house-hold name throughout the world, especially in Europe and the U.S. He is now signed on Jive Records, the same company as Backstreet, Nsync, and other popular pop acts! He has released two albums on Jive, "Aaron's Party(come get it)"(2000), and "Oh Aaron"(2001) and is coming back with one this summer!
