Because of unforeseen circumstances, the UNA Florida Division Convention, scheduled for 23-24 January 2004 in Daytona Beach, has been cancelled. Only a one-day annual meeting will be held in Sarasota, on Saturday 24 April 2004, hosted by the Sarasota-manatee Chapter. The program includes a business plenary session (9:00am-12:00am), a luncheon with speaker (12:00 pm �2:30pm) and a meeting of the new board of directors (2:30pm � 4:00pm). The key speaker will be Ms. Gillian Sorensen, former Assistant Secretary-General for External Affairs to the UN Secretary General Koffi Annan, and now working with the UN Foundation.
Both the meetings and luncheon will be held at Marina Jack, 2 Marina Plaza, Sarasota. Details on the meeting will be provided in the next newsletter, to be issued in the first half of March 2004. Further information could be provided by Daniel Luu (tel: 941-955-6810 or luudaniel @comcast.net).
