Utilizes systematic long strokes, light friction techniques, and kneading of the superficial layers of the muscle. This technique promotes general relaxation, improved circulation, increased range of motion and musle tension release. Gently stretching motion exercise are also employed. Excellent for those who do not like firm pressure and want overall relaxation.
Releases the chronic, often painful, patterns of tension in the body through slow seep strokes using deeper pressure upon constricted muscles by going "against the grain" of the muscle or tendon. Dimilar to Swedish in manner although performed with greater penetration and focus on problem areas, often involving chronic pain or stiffness in the larger tissues in neck/shoulder area.
Deep specific work that releases "trigger points" of muscle groups. Assists with reduction of muscular pain and inflammation, helps with injury rehabilitation. speeds recovery and aids the correction and realignment of postural distoryion in the back and chronic muscle tightness.
