Well, CNN did a half-hour feature on contemporary Christian music on an episode of "World Beat". One of those trite "Oh look at the nice little Christian musicians! They can make money too!" kind of shows. Frankly, I'd rather be ignored than condescended to-- okay, the point is that the Newsboys were on this show for about 45 seconds, so I guess CNN has some taste. :) And here they are:

Peter talks about the lack of a Christian music scene in Australia.
They split the screen... which makes for strange screen captures...
But whatever. I like Peter's big open-mouth grins. :)
A cool shot of Jeff.
And a cool shot of Jeff lit from the other side!
They let the Newsboys play just enough of "Love Liberty Disco" to remind me how awesome the dome concert was...
...and get me all mad that they weren't showing any more.
More interview (anyone ever notice that Peter and Phil do all the talking?)
And Phil can't even sit still for the length of a five-second soundbite. (Nice view of the Heather tatoo, by the way.)
Figet figet figet...
Peter's saying that he's seen some big-name secular bands touring with fewer people and less stuff than the Newsboys take.

Okay, I sincerely do not want to offend anybody here, but do you think that in this one shot, Phil bears a faint resemblance to Justin Timb-- oh, never mind. Just forget I said anything.

You must know,
I am supposed dead: the army breaking,
My husband hies him home; where, heaven aiding,
And by the leave of my good lord the king,
Well be before our welcome.
