FLORENCE COUNTY CITIZENS IN ACTION

MARCH 27, 2007

The March 27, 2007 meeting of the Florence County Citizens in Action was held at 6:00 p.m. at Florence Bible Chapel with 15 members present. Chairman Licia Stone opened the meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Dean Fowler led Pledge of Allegiance.

Brenda Gibson read minutes from February meeting.

Ms. Stone asked for more participation in petition drive.

Petition co-chair Lou Vause reported on petition drive. Volunteers will be at Olanta Flea Market on

April 7. May be going to Super Wal-Mart April 20 and 21. Need at least 15 volunteers.

More participation is needed at Florence County Council meetings, which meet the 1 st and 3 rd Thursdays of each month in Room 803 in Florence City/County Complex.

Brenda Gibson introduced speaker T.J. Lesieur of Newstalk 970. Mr. Lesieur gave us an inspiring talk of �Overcoming adversity to achieve great things.�

The Program Committee and the Executive Committee will meet Monday, April 9, 2007 @ 5 o'clock at Atlantic Bread.

Our next meeting will be April 24, 2007 , @ 6 o'clock at Florence Bible Chapel, 1400 Second Loop Road, Corner of Woods Road and Second Loop, Florence , S C 29505.
