What happens when you stop mowing a suburban lawn in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania? What plants will emerge? How many species will emerge?

This experiment began in 2006, with the eradication of an invasive thistle. In 2007, the yard has remained unmown. Two species of invasive plants have been removed. Here's what's shown up so far.
