| Does your office environment allow you room to unlock your potential or are you, and everyone else, just screaming for some creative space? It's no longer enough to just set a table and chair in one corner. In offices today where people are expected to accomplish more in less time, the functionality of their work area spells the difference between productivity and inefficiency. "A workplace which makes you comfortable encourages creativity," tells Sunil Prabhakaran, Manager of BAFCO. "If you have an environment where you are free to move, you are more relaxed. You can give your best." It's about image. "Feeling good and looking good has become part of the culture," Sunil explains, "you want a work area that would project your image." |

| The trend in modern offices is pointing at minimalism and versatility, highlighted with furniture made of wood, steel and glass, Sunil tells. Workspaces are personalized, with fewer divisions to "create smoother communication channels among colleagues". This relaxed work atmosphere aims to put people's state of mind first. BAFCO's furniture design fuses style, quality, functionality and comfort. Much of the designs incorporate smooth curves, giving the furniture its aesthetic appeal. "We were perhaps the first to introduce the concept of curve desks. It's stylish, snug and spacious," claims Sunil. Interchangeable furniture parts and structures allow you complete control over the type of environment you want to create within your own personal space. So you can create a work area that will work for you. Seating options are also in check. The latest addition is the Freedom chair, that "adjusts to your body, so you don't have to worry about knobs and levers." These are all part of the people-friendly approach to furniture design. "It's all about people. Even with the most creative ideas, without people to execute those ideas, you'll fall flat. Give them an environment in which they will excel," Sunil tells. |
