The Yellow River, according to earliest recorded history in year 3000 B.C., has flooded over 1500 times and it has had 26 major changes in its course. This is considered to be alot considering other floods around the world that have maybe only flooded once or twice. It is still "unstopable" because it is so stong that it has broken through damns that the chinese people built.
