He is a 19 year old student who failed his first entry exam to university and is presently studying in a preparation school in Tokyo. Because of this, he has to support himself by working at a bar.
Chii is a Persocon picked by Hideki among the garbage. It is innocently cute and has no worldly knowledge, even language. She is taught how to speak with the help of Hideki. However, she had an untold past... why was such a good Persocon being thrown away?
She is the apartment keeper where Hideki is staying. She seemed to be a very gentle and caring person, in particular to Hideki and Chii... She is mysteriously related to Chii in Chii's unknown past.
He is a fellow classmate of Hideki at the preparation school. He is the one who first help Hideki about Chii and introduce Kokubunji Minoru.
Sumomo
This is Shinbo's personal pocket Persocon. It has a cheerful and cute character which resembles Shinbo in a way. From volume 3 onwards, Sumomo will belong to Hideki.
It is an exact model to Chii, so we can conclude that they were made by the same person. It seemed to be able to connect to Chii at anytime when Chii closes her eyes and know all that Chii had forgotten about her secret past. It also knows Hibiya Chitose.
He is an expert in Persocon and had even made one himself. However he can get rather gloomy at times due to his sister's death. Henceforth he had made Yuzuki such that it resembles his sister in every way.
It is the Persocon made by Minoru to resemble his sister. It has a very caring and thoughtful character and very beautiful too.
She is a rather genki High School student who is taking a part-time job at the same bar as Hideki. She seemed to have taken a liking to Hideki. Hideki believed that something must have happen to her such that she always looked sad whenever Persocon is mentioned.
She is a teacher in the preparation school that Hideki and Shinbo attend. She too had an unpleasant past with Persocon.
