Chii was sleeping tiredly in Hideki's apartment, next to him and Sumomo... Hideki woke up to find Chii next to him.  Hideki shook Chii gently, but the latter did not respond. He began to get more worried. "Chii-chan, wake up!" He hugged it.

Chii opened her eyes and hugged him back. "Hideki-kun..." It was too happy and threw him to his back again. He could not believe what had happened yesterday... Chii standing on the clock in the middle of the street. "Hey, hey...Chii..." Chii was snuggling against him. Then Hideki remembered about why he came running about to find Chii. He got up and got Chii to sit properly.

"Where did you go yesterday, Chii-chan?" Hideki asked seriously. 

"I went to find a job..." Chii answered softly unsure of Hideki's seriousness.

Hideki went slight red. "Didn't I say you are not to work for any porn-shop?"

Chii replied confusedly. "I obey, I did not work for a porn-shop."

Hideki was so... that he pulled his hair. "Isn't peeping-tom room not porno enough?!?" "Isn't porn-shop the name of the shop?"

"I want to work so that I can earn money for Hideki... Is Hideki angry at Chii? Is Chii naughty?" Hideki quickly try to calm it down.

Chii looked despondently. "Chii is afraid that Hideki will dislike Chii... because Hideki is Chii's..."

The conversation ran on in this manner till Sumomo shouted, "Wake up time! Let's do some exercises!" Hideki was ignored by it and shouted at her. Sumomo immediately seek refuge with Chii. Sumomo then reported, "20 minutes to Class." "I AM LATE!!!"(Hideki) "This man is so scarely!"(Sumomo, hugging closer to Chii)

When Hideki turned up for class, he got to know that Shimizu sensei did not come for class at all... As he walked out of school, he received a call from Shinbo. "I am going to elope with Shimizu sensei!"

A very dramatic Hideki ran into Minoru's house. "I WANT TO CONNECT TO THE NUMBER ON THE PHONE!!!" Through the phone call with Shinbo, Hideki and Minoru got to know the past of Shimizu sensei.

She had married years ago... because of her husband she was unable to be a Primary school teacher as she had always wanted. But now, her husband had no time for her. With the advent of Persocon, her husband was so obsessed that he totally ignored her and even locked her out of the house. Shinbo who lived near her realised her sad story... consequently they fell for each other... till what had happened today.

Hideki was still overwhelmed by the problems created by Persocon. He was thinking as he watched the latest news on the newest model of Persocon, that "look exactly like a human". He was murmuring to himself. "No matter what, it is still a machine, right?"

Chii turned at him... before Hideki left the house, he asked Chii if it still wanted to work? He had contacted the shop he used to work in and the shopkeeper wanted a promotional girl for the day. Chii happily accepted.

This is how Chii came to work for Chiroru Confectionary Shop. Everyone on the street was gathering around Chii, because she is so cute! The tencho, shopkeeper in Japanese, then called her into the shop. "The promotional sales ended today, but can Chii still work here?"

Chii answered, "I need to ask Hideki first..."

"If Hideki agreed, can you come to work tomorrow?"

"Arigato! Tencho!" Chii happily hugged him, throwing him onto his back as Hideki...

"Chii-chan, you must not hug people like that!" The tencho pushed her aside, embarrassed.

Chii seemed confused. "Cannot hug anyone?"

The tencho smiled gently, "That, you have to se who it is... it must be someone Chii-chan like or else..."

Chii looked dazzled. "Someone Chii like..."

At Hideki's workplace, Yumi was waiting for him. She was worried about him since he seemed so troubled. Hideki, in order not to upset her, quickly replied that he was just wondering why there are so many Persocon of the late... and that they cannot match human no matter what. Yumi then had a strange sad expression. "Are Persocon human or not...? They are more beautiful and intelligent than human such that human don't need human any more..." She suddenly cheered up, handed Hideki cakes she had made and left...

Hideki went to the bookshop (the one he first brought Chii to) on his way home. He noticed yet another new edition of the series Chii liked so much, entitled "I can do Anything". But he realised that the content was actually one pro-computers... He left without buying the book. (See "I can do Anything")

Hideki opened the door of his apartment to be knocked off by a happy Sumomo who danced on his forehead, announcing that Hideki is her new master... "Please set a password so that no one can use Sumomo." Hideki came up with "Chobits" as the password and wondered why Chii had no password at all, when the latter rushed in.

When Chii had told Hideki and got his permission to work at the cake shop, Chii offered her salary for the day to him. Hideki rejected and told her that Chii should use the money to buy things she liked. Chii-chan then asked a strange question. "May I hug you?... May I?"

On the next day, a very happy Chii went out. She was greeted by Hibiya on her way. It asked Hibiya for advice of what to give to Hideki. Hibiya smiled and asked her what Hideki had always wanted. Chii replied thoughtfully, "more new porn-magazine and albums..." (See this is really bad! Imagine if Chii knew what those books are!)

At the bookshop, Chii saw the book Hideki looked yesterday. She used her own salary to buy a new magazine for Hideki and "I can do Anything" for herself. The bookshop owner was rather friendly and introduced her the latest edition entitled "An Unrealizable Dream". After buying, Chii sat in the Park reading the books... (See "An Unrealizable Dream")

Two suspicous people, one man and one woman was standing on electric poles( don't ask me how they got there.. :p )

(Woman) "What Zemas?"

Zemas: Her reaction is becoming stronger...

Woman: Location?

Zemas: Unclear... why are you so anxious, Tidus?"

Tidus replied that she as worried about the power that child had and wondered why the maker made it... Zemas smiled and said that he knew something but refused to reveal.

When they were resting, Zemas patted the sleeping Tidus and said," I hope we will never have to choose this path..."

Minoru on the other had received yet another attachment on chobits and sent it to Hideki. Hideki was very pleased that Chii-chan had bought something for him but was extremely shocked when he saw what it is. He embarrassedly accepted.

Hideki requested Sumomo to open the attachment on the TV.  Hideki was surprised to see this time another Persocon like Chii next to Hibiya. He then called Minoru out to have another talk about Chii and the mysterious sender...
