Our once-beloved Warner Brothers Studios has now betryed us. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the upcoming Potter film, has now been delayed a release date untill July 17th of 2009, even though the original date was November 21st of this year. Alan Horn of WB basically says in the Press Release that Summer movies mae more money than winter movies so we will wait untill next summer instead of this winter.
Later, after having seen the outrage from Potter fans worldwide, the same man, Alan Horn said, "We would never do anything to hurt one of the movies or the series. We love our fans."
We Potter fans have very obviously been lied to, and therefore disrespected. Our fanbase prides itself in helping out important causes, so as the need shows itself, we will arise again. Click on the pic below to see reaction and uprise vids.
We, the Dumbledore's Army of the Muggle world, need to do our part to bring the Half-Blood Prince release date back toward November 21st. Even if it isn't at the exact date if and when the dtae is changed, it will at least be closer then the date it is at now.
