In loving memory of Chelsea LeAnn

Nov. 30, 1988 - Jul. 19, 2006

Chelsea passed away on Wednesday morning, July 19. She was almost 18 and had survived over 4 years past what the Vet had ever imagined with the progression of her bone cancer. She was a wonderful dog and the best friend a girl could ever have. She's seen me through many happy and sad times, and also many moves - even one to another country. I was lucky enough to get the chance to have her at my house for 2 days the previous week. She had a great time relaxing with me and Hunter and looked like she was loving every minute she was here. While I'm extremely sad that she is gone, I know she's in a better place where there is no pain. She's back with her mother and all the other dogs that have gone before her. I went up to Michigan to visit her grave and place a headstone that we had made together some years ago when we first learned she had cancer. She was buried on a beautiful spot, overlooking the Menominee river at the family cottage so she will remain close to us, while always in our hearts.

She's a Choc. lab retriever mix and loves to sleep!
