| So the other night, I got to thinking, "What has my favorite 5-part vocal ensemble 'N Sync been doing lately?" I read the bios and came across Joey Fatone and his feature in the Tony/Pulitzer Prize winning muscial RENT. I had remembered hearing that Mr. Fatone was in RENT, but I didn't know which part, where, when, or any of the other details. As I searched online, I came upon a wealth of sites created just for Joey and his role as Mark Cohen, the struggling filmmaker and the unofficial narrator of the whole musical. I came upon a site that had clips of him on stage doing the title song "RENT" and my personal favorite "La Vie Boheme" and I thought to myself, "Oh my god! He's SO GOOD!" So I thought I share that with you all. I also have provided links below that will take you to the video footage of him singings the above mentioned songs and another that shows his opening night party (keep an eye out for fellow 'N Syncers JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake and some original cast members as well as current cast members) I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did! |
