My Family is what keeps me alive. I love them dearly and I cannot for
the moment see myself existing without them.
Not in distance, but matter of fact. It's just very nice to know that
they are there...
That is, I find it comforting to know that I have someone to go home
to. My family gives me that comfort.
I am the third child, second daughter.
My dear mother passed away in 1996 and I Dedicate the rest of my life's
acievements to her.
She taught me a lot, more she taught me in her own way how to bare
the weight of her passing away-
for only SHE was the center of my life at first.
DEDICATED
TO MY MOTHER
(Right to left: Grandma [Dad's mom], myself, Dad, Sis, Kid bro
[before mutation], Mom, and Older Bro [forever on the telephone-
even on MY Birthday])
My father is a wonderful man. As all he has his shortcommings as well,
but his goodness acceedes it all. He lives his life helping people and
is ever a busy man till this day at 55 and for a lot more years to come
I believe, jet-setting around wanting to change the lives of people for
the better and most important SUCEEDING at it. With the exception of his
children (though we really do listen actually), everyone else listens to
what he has to say, and many have been touched by his light.
I am not a boast. This is particularly true of my Father. He has always
been a man with a mission which will not fail.
And again, he is a wonderful father.
My brothers. Functional they are. :) As brothers. Born to irritate sisters,
but yes, when you need them they are there.
Though that's yet to be seen of my kid bro. Ah, just kidding ok...
I love the white mutation of a brother of mine very, very much.
Why mutation? Well he used to be shorter than me once, but now he is
the tallest in the family and I am the shortest.
I have no problems with my height or my apparent forever youthfulness
either.
The kid's a handsome devil. The MOON! :) (That was an inside joke).
The older one. I have him to thank for my success with Chess before
at HighSchool. I used to idolize and copy him,
and since he was great at Chess I got into it. Was on the team for
6 years and earned a wonderful reputation for the most of it. Well, my
bro's smart as a tac, high IQ gang, questionable EQ. Mom said that.
He's cool married with a wonderfully, overactive son- whom could grow
up to be a real Romeo
or heartbreaker one day- but a good boy as well. So he's cool.
My sister. What would I do without her? When we were younger and used to share a room, we hated each other and would fight terribly. Later we discovered that it was just a matter of territorial space. Once a new room was built and she moved into that part of the house, we became the best of friends. My sister though has the uncanny ability of figuring me out- mostly when I have gotten myself into trouble. This is a good ESP thing she has on me though because she's gotten me out of a lot of bad spots when I'd fallen, strayed, started drowning, got lost and all. I've made her cry and laugh. I am sorry of how I wronged her, but without my sister, I may never have been able to straighten myself out when I was lost and falling with no one else really noticing, or not knowing how or what to do. Sis is Priceless.
Everyone in my family is vocal with the exception of me.
All either love the stage or can handle it very well, except for me.
(I have to be different).
All are great hostest too, except my lil brother and I though he would be better at the job.
They have wonderful personalities, a people's person once you get to
know them and lovable from the start- at times.
Ok ok mostly. Imagination and artistry runs in the family through different
forms though. Like my poetry and me.
My father writes songs, has published many books on religion and philosophy
(somewhat wide read in certain circles).
That's not his main job though.
Older brother is a good actor (not his job either), he is very vocal
(takes it from dad), intelligent, well pretty cool,
and a good father and husband I presume.
My sister has talents of her own. She is good with the pen though she
doesn' t write the way I do (not a have to).
But she's got imagination & talent for speach.
My younger brother takes the stage too. He is good at singing, acting,
and poetry even (more monitary there though).
He and my sis, also bro used to debate.
And me- the quiet one. I cannot take the stage- stammer too much. I
can sing & play music (harmonium), write poetry,
draw a little ( not well). Silent stuff.
That's my family now.
(R-L: Myself, Kid bro [after mutation], Dad & Sis [it's
just us living in our house now- Mom's in Heaven, & Bro's got his own
family and place])
And My Grandfather. He is special to me ok. I love my old man very, very much, My Grandma (his wife) too I won't forget her... Anyway, my grandfather is a great conversationalist. My aunts said that he was an enchanting poet at a time too, though I have never seen his works, but I know of his artistry in painting a piicture with mere words through one letter which he sent to me once from New Zealand. He writes beautifully! He's got a sense of humor. Always a joy to have as company.
Ok I don't want to start mentioning the rest of my extended family because if I mention one I will have to mention them all, to be fair because I love them all eaqually, but it would take a lot to make sure everyone is brought into the picture and graced proper. So just know that I love them very, very, very, much!
