DCW News

04/02/2006Posted by Violent K

The new DCW website has arrived with a few new features including the shoutbox as one of them. DCW has found itself a site manager, yes Violent K has stepped back into the DCW staff to act as a site manager only. Zak Phenom and Karnage will still be running the place and after the their first show in charge at the re-union show, we can see they are doing a great job. Since it's a new era there are quite a few changes. To sign up to DCW, you no longer need to send in an application to the email address provided. Everything is done on the boards now. Just copy the application form, sign up on the boards and post your bios under the forum which reads 'Roster Bios.' Also dark matches are now going to take place. This means all knew people joining will be put into a dark match. If you roleplay then you will be apart of the TV show, if you don't roleplay then you will carry on being put in the dark matches. The re-union show went off greatly on March 26th when old and current DCW stars battled it on in a night to remember. The show was incredible and PPV worthy so went down very well. DCW now gets ready for it's next show held at Grand Rapids, Michigan. DCW is changing and is becoming very exciting. Keep watching us as big things are to come!

NAWC News

03/25/2006Posted by Jeff Rosenberg

Three shows down... hopefully a lot more to go... and NAWC's goals have been approahced. When NAWC was thought of, I hoped to start everyone at 0-0, with a mix of rookies and veterans. Looking at the NAWC roster right now, its exactly what I wanted. With rookies like Torquemada, John Focker, and L.U.B.C.H.O. active in matches and angles, the community truely benefits with NAWC.

As for starting over at 0-0, with everyone in the lower divisions. Jason Steiner, $ee Money, Chris Shaw, Abe Rogers and Letterman all "household names" in the game, lost their debut matches, as rookie L.U.B.C.H.O. defeated both Steiner and Letterman back to back, and former BCW jobber Trent Phantasm starts his NAWC career off 2-0. However, Letterman and Rogers have since bounced back with wins at Lightning.

The NAWC TV Title tournament is now in the semi-finals, down to Carson Walker, Scott Bentley, X and Quentin Mark... all four veterans of the past. The foursome will now compete in a round robin tournament, with the top two scorers facing off for the title.

Finally, I announced the NAWC Reflection title tournament brackets at Lightning. The tournament will bring out the best of the hardcore styles, as the champion will go through some type of four way elimination hardcore match, then three one on one hardcore type matches in order to get the title. The tournament starts at Explosion on Tuesday with two four way matches underway.

The NAWC World Championship tournament won't start until late April, so theres still time for you to join and get in on the action.

AHHHHHHHH

02/07/2006Posted by Flip Johnson

Doesn't it make you want to scream when you think things are on their way back to being normal and everything falls between the cracks once again. BWI blows up, Jeff Rosenburg is finally thinking of getting back into the biz one more time. Mercer claims to have the answer in some feds he knows of? What ever happened to Greene's fed he was thinking about opening? I know here at the Flipside i'm just as guilty. I'm on top of things for a couple weeks then i'm gone for a couple. Right now it's because i'm working mega hours, been sick for about a week, and I was pumped for what turned out to be a shitty ass superbowl. To top it off I purchased Mario Kart for the DS and began playing it online (You talk about addicting sh*t). The FS is made by news, if there is no news to cover it makes it a slow scene here in the New England States. Lets quit the talking and get this going, at least for one final run. Let me know when your ready. See you on the Flipside peeps!!!
