The Crew - An elite group of 4 players refined and perfected by God's
own hands who consistently wrong salty players, bust out Swedish Chef
tactics, flex and get the Flipperized juice,the bomb, the goods,
rude-as-hell draws, while avoiding ass, butt, and harsh plays and the
suspect device.
The Bomb - Referring to a solid draw or specific card, which will
generally win you the game. Double fireblast combo after third turn
ball lightning and a couple of incinerates falls into this category.
Mitish O' Geddon - Ruination(the magic card). Guess how many colors he
likes to play? A lot.
Plop - plop
Flavor Unit - synonym for The Crew
Salt - Referring to a bad draw, bad play, or bad mix of cards. One would call something a salty play or player.
Ass - Any combination of bad cards or plays which represents the worst
of the worst. Stronger form of butt. Welcome to the Paris mulligan or a
lost game.
Butt - see Ass
C.Q. - The World's greatest tournaments ever, we own it (not literally)
The Goods - Not quite the bomb. A very solid draw or set of cards which
will beat most players.
Git - Some pissed off guy called Sean Baker a Git once. Apparently it is
a derivitive of the word Twit.
Flipperized - An ungodly draw made famous by people like Flipper and Big
Al. Representative of the amount of X spells Sam Heckman gets in seealed
and draft.
Man Land - The ass-bustin' dude that ends your whole game. Also known as Stalking Stones
Flex - A true Brandon Rutter term. It means you are kicking the crap out of
your opponent and you develope a sudden urge to rip off your shirt and
begin flexing.
Bust Out - A term meaning that you should just play your cards and beat
your opponent quickly. First turn jackal pup/mogg consrcipt followed by
two more on the next turn and a third turn ball lighting is pretty much
busting out.
The Away Team - A group of Crew members who go off on seperate missions
to win tournaments while other crew members win at the home base.
The Juice - See the goods.
Ruthless - Very evil tactics or cards. The bad, bad man ( better known
as Ihsan ) is one example. This can also be used to denote some of the
best cards/draws/and or playes of the game. All crew members fall under
the ruthless category.
Harsh - The all reflecting pool draw, the quicksand draw, or the man
land(stalkign stones) draw. Fixed by paris mulligan or loss of the
match. Also used to describe the mad beating someone might be taking.
Wronged - To be beaten by a Crew member very badly.
Rude..as..Hell - Dude. I just win.
Swedish Chef Tactics - Pretending to not even know what is going on
during the game in order to annoy your opponent into submission.
The Sauce - A term defining a Crew member's deck. They're just too good.
Derived from the foreign Autumn Willow.
Opt - The cool word they use on Natural Selection.
In Your Face Tactics - Ever been hit in the eye by a magic card? Ever
feel totally hosed because some card totally wrecked you and you were
face to face with the card, literally? Those are in your face tactics.
Scrubland - Heaven for good Magic players, oh and a dual land.
The Scene - Any place you can go to play or trade. If you need to find a
crew member go to The Scene and wait. We will be there soon.
Fool School - A place where you take bad players to learn to play the
right way.
Columbus - The guy who discovered America.
Wyvern - Free Money, Free Cards. It doesn't get much better than that.
The Dorms - See Ass
The Lab - The confidential zone where decks are constructed
Suspect - an irregular draw, the kind that can be either the bomb or
ass. Also refers to a really bad play.
Suspect device - turned on by scrubby players when they make bad plays.
King of Thieves - see Herbie Lukes, new owner of Rathi Dragon and
Volrath's Stronghold in a winner takes all draft. He didn't win.
