9/14/99 - Marc Aquino, a longtime friend of The Crew and former teammate had a stunning semifinal finish at PT D.C. this weekend. Marc led his team past the best of the business and into the money.

Marc met The Crew when he visited Chicago with Brian Schneider slightly before PT1. Although they were only in Chicago a short time Marc revolutionized Chicago Type 1 by introducing a fast damage deck to the area which at the time was dominated by control. Marc and Brian both spent a lot of time with Max Szlagor and Sam Heckman. Nights of playtesting at fine magical establishments such as Big Daddy's Comics, Rosati's Pizza, Heroes Unlimited and Dunkin Doughnuts helped provide the tech that allowed The Crew to have a winning record at PT1.
Marc has allways remained enthusiastic about his cornerstone in Crew history and will often wear the famed "Old Skool Crew Shirt" to major events. If you happend to see that handsome Filipino in that shirt at a tournament near you give him a pat on the back for us.
