Since this site is for the Pokemon, I'd like to talk about them.
Mahi's Pokemon
Kooky:
Kooky's Mahi first Pokemon and an Abra. He sleeps for the majority of his scenes in my story, although he'll occasionally do some other things. He's considered the 'guru' of the Pokemon group, everybody going to him for their problems. Despite this, about the only thing he'll give is a snore. However, the other Pokemon seem to understand what he is saying.
Kooky had a rather depressing story before coming into possesion of Mahi. He had a former trainer, a young teenage boy. His Pokemon companion through those times was Zanny. The human boy soon faced a fatal illness and used his last breath to bid farewell to his Pokemon.
Overwhelmed with grief, Kooky and Zanny went their seperate ways and Kooky striked out on his own. He was sleeping when a Disable attack struck him and he was unable to flee. He was then harrassed by a group of Haunters. He was rescued by Professor Birch and was soon given to Mahi.
Kooky's true nature is a mystery, since he barely even talks. However, since I'm the author, I'll tell you myself. Kooky is actually highly mischeivious and quite a trouble maker when awake. BUT, he's also helpful to those in need. His complex personality is quite difficult to decipher and he's apparently bipolar, switching quickly from one emotion to another.
Kooky prefers to see things in the long-run and will often reach for his long-term goal and ignore beneficial short-term ones.
Kooky is a highly powerful Pokemon, able to toy with even the toughest opponents. His attacks are:
Psychic, Teleport, Shadow Ball, Confusion, Psybeam, Theif, Disable.
Sandy:
Sandy's a Sandshrew and Mahi's second Pokemon. She's a Mexican Pokemon, probably the only one in the world that speaks the Spanish version of Poke-talk. She's best friends with Zanny and mostly kind to everyone else around her. Her biggest annoyance is Rin's Pigeot.
Sandy was caught in the wild by Mahi, who lured this Pokemon's friendship with a taco. As a gift, she was given a sombrero to wear because honestly, what's better than a Sandshrew wearing a Mexican hat?
Sandy demands high respect among her fellow Pokemon. She's stronger than the majority of them (Kooky being the only one that's more powerful than she is) and will get the beating on anyone who challenges her. She's feisty and has large determination. She doesn't believe in sulking and will work for what she wants. Her biggest fear is water (no brainer there....) and will avoid it whenever possible. Her attacks are:
Sand-Attack, Dig, Scratch, Sandstorm, Defense Curl, Swift, Fury Swipes.
