EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Founder of PUSO. Oversees all PUSO operations. Interviews prospective administrative officers. Manages all officers. Responsible for explaining the goals of PUSO adequately to Board members. Brainstorms/collaborates with the chairs/vice-chairs and committees. Possesses all records from each branch. Acts as the primary intermediary between US & PI communication. Collaborates with coordinators overseas to determine what needs to be done.

CHAIR/VICE-CHAIR: Responsible for frequently communicating and holding meetings with other officers. Collaborates with the Executive Director & various committees. Possesses records from all activities/events. Responsible for keeping frequent contact with the Executive Director and reporting progress and/or issues.

TREASURER: Manages expenses & funds received. Responsible for recording all donations onto the financial reports. Forwards the financial reports to the secretary.

SECRETARY: Responsible for taking minutes during meetings. Keeps all records on file.

HISTORIAN: Takes pictures of the service & donations rendered. Responsible for uploading pictures online.

COMMITEE OFFICERS

Finance Officer: Collaborates with treasurer and committee members to determine the distribution of funds. Responsible for utilizing an effective means of conserving funds to pay for all expenses. Records where funds go and what is purchased with it.

Shipping Officer: Manages Balikbayan boxes contents & distribution to the Philippines. Creates an inventory report of the donated items & sorts out the items accordingly. Responsible for contacting the Balikbayan box transportation service & shipping the box out to the Philippines. Responsible for providing the secretary with an inventory report, shipping expenses, and any other information regarding shipments.

Fundraiser Officer: Brainstorms/collaborates with Executive Director, Chair/Vice-chair, shipping committee, finance officer, and human resource officer regarding fundraiser ideas. Determines logistics and specifics of the fundraiser. Creates a plan/timeline of the fundraiser.

Human Resources Officer: Encourages youth community members to actively contribute in the PUSO efforts. Encourages youth to bring goods and/or money to donate. Informs community members of volunteering opportunities at fundraiser/donation events. Responsible for advertising upcoming fundraiser/donation events around his/her community.

Nominating Officer: Collaborates with all officers in branch and reviews prospective officers. Interviews potential officers & conducts election of officers.


Chair/Vice-chair: Manages all associates & managers. Gathers all reports, photos, etc. and forwards all data to the head CEO in the US. Collaborates with CEO about plans & proposals to help communities. Coordinates all events with associates & youth community members after plans are finalized with CEOs. Makes sure branch runs smoothly and supervises all events.

Photographer: Takes digital pictures of the community providing service to students/schools. Responsible for keeping a visual record of events. Forwards pictures to website manager so public may access pictures online. Sends the pictures to the Branch CEO.

Journalist: Keeps a written record of all events. Responsible for providing a detailed description of event, including dates, issues or problems, public and youth reactions, etc. Gives Branch CEO and Website Manager the report and sends it via E-mail to the CEO in the US.

Transportation Manager: Manages all necessary transportation means in order to distribute goods and provide youth with rides to and from designated location. Keeps record of expenses & forwards records to Branch CEO and Website Manager.

Researcher: Does brief research on the different schools in specific towns / barangays. Indicates schools that need supplies the most. Responsible for finding or creating a map and list of school districts around the area of focus. Forwards list to Branch CEO.

Website Manager: Updates P.U.S.O. website. Responsible for adding pictures, journal reports, transportation expenses, and anything else under their branch's designated section. <xmp><!-- text below generated by server.
