| The Timberjack Series tournament that Kevin and I attended in West Virginia started out a little bit rough. We had 4 days of rain, and didn't seem to be having any fun. Fortunately we had a trip planned to Virginia Beach. As luck would have it, we never made it to the beach. Instead, we ended up meeting a couple of nice young ladies from White Sulfur Springs by the name of Christie and Lara. (Pictured below) Not only were they great fun to hang out with, they also worked at the Greenbrier at the outdoor pool and managed to get us into the resort and got us free food and drinks all morning and afternoon. If you don't know about The Greenbrier, its one of America's elite resorts, often times playing host to the President of the USA. Yeah, it was pretty classy. |
| The fun did not end there. Christie and Lara showed us the natural highlights of the area as well. We visited mountain peaks and spring water creeks. (more pictures of that stuff to come) We even got to try some great ethnic quizine in the form of tacos, margaritas and Corona. Yeah, it was a good time. If you're ever in West Virginia, be sure to take a tour of the formerly top secret nuclear bunker that was built to house congress in the 1960's, which is located under the resort. Oh, and don't drive fast at night. |
