Here I will provide not so brief summaries of the chapters. For all those who are confused by anything. ;)
Chapter One: Knight Skies-- The story starts with two boys falling from the sky and landing on a sidewalk. They are dressed in tunics and leggings, like little Robin Hoods...but that's not the point really. Sebastien explains that they have been sent to the past by a Baron, so now their home is in trouble. Antoine doesn't seem so worried though. Anyway, they wander down the walk hoping to figure out where to find a "Tempus Milites" or Time Guardian or a place to hide for awhile. Antoine is quickly distracted and suckers Seb into hiding out at Mount Carmel Boarding School in Paris, Indiana. However, the plot thickens as the Baron and Lucifer the elf have followed them through time! *gasp* The plot thickens even more when the boys run into two girls, Brianna and Cecilia. The girls warn them that they'd better get lost or hide...and of course, they end up in the girls dormatory. =P The chapter ends with Ceese attempting to report them to the dean, but Seb stops her.
Chapter Two: Knight School-- Aside from the chapter name being clever, we go back to talking with Lucifer and Baron Perry and learn what their plan is. Apparently, the baron had plotted to kill the boys by sending them to a certain point in the past where their deaths would be inevitable. However, there's been a mistake and the Baron decided the best option was to follow the young princes to the past. And kill them then instead. Meanwhile, Sebastien has just finished telling the two girls how they got to be there and that they are stuck. (of course, the reader conviently misses the entire explanation 'cuz I'm so lazy.) Ceese doesn't buy their story and so to prove to her that they are indeed from the Neo-medieval times, Twon and Seb call their familiars to bring their armor (in the worst comic page ever drawn!). Ceese is somewhat convinced. Brianna, who believed them all along, is very willing to help them out and sneaks them into an unused dorm room. Later, the boys attend classes with Cecilia and Brianna to try and blend in, but theirs another new student Lucis or better known as Lucifer. Seb recognizes the elf right away and realizes how much more serious their situation has become. During a big lightening storm (very popular around here during spring and summer) Sebastien explains what he knows about "Tempus" and such. Cecilia makes a smart alleck remark that proves a point, they're in deep crap. Anywho, after more entertaining classes, tension developes between Twon and Ceese. The chapter closes with the girls getting ready for Spring Formal and the boys too.
Chapter Three: Courting with Disaster-- The Spring Formal dance is underway. The characters seem to be enjoying themselves and trying to forget their problematic situation. Sadly, this was a bad move on their part. They forget about Lucifer being around. Lucifer had hoped the boys would be distracted by the girls, making it all too easy to kill them! However, Lucifer didn't plan on Cecilia being on top of things. While Sebastien's relationship with Brianna seems to be taking an unexpected turn, Lucifer is about to blast him out of existance. Too bad Ceese is pretty reactive and rushes to successfully save her friends and splash the Baron. The Baron doesn't seem unhappy that he's wet. He grins and sinks through the puddle of Hawaiian punch...or whatever they kept in their. However, Lucifer is stranded in the past and he's not happy about that. Could the Baron have planned this betrayal all along? Well, whatever, Luci is pissed and Cecilia is the closest target. In his rage, the amythist amulet breaks and Lucifer splits into two beings! Yikes! Two Demons have solidified out of Lucifer, ready to reak havoc and slay all in their path. The boys are quick to act and call for their familiars again and gear up to fight fight fight! As the brawl is underway, Ceese concocts an insane plan and lures the demons into a chapel. Fr. Andy arrives in the nick of time to exorcise the demons. Oh, btw, if you haven't noticed, the familiars and magic weapons disappeared.
Chapter Four: Knight Time--Well, this chapter tries to explain as much as possible to set up for the rest of the comic. So, there's no action, some romance, but mostly dialogue. We discover that Sebastien has become infatuated with Brianna and are officially labeled as a couple. Lucifer wakes up after being freed from the demons. He seems to know a lot about the boys and feels free to share that knowledge. Father Andy also reveals that he is a Tempus Milites, one of the rare few who guard the gates of time. He talks a bit about the prophecy too. (I'll put more on the prophecy and Time stuff on the Writing section). Now, Fr. Andy is about to send Lucifer and the boys back, but Lucifer has something more to say. (Someone shut him up!) Also note that Cecilia may have a little crush on that dashing elf. ;) By the end of the chapter Fr. Andy sends Antoine, Sebastien, and Lucifer back to their proper time period. We do a slight profile on Ceese being a cold hearted jerk...prolly true and yeah, she doesn't seem too phased about the departure of the medieval ppl. Which surprises Fr. Andy and Brianna. And so ends chapter four with pretty petals and Cecilia looking somewhat wistful and calm. ^_^
Chapter Five: Cold Iron Cecilia and Brianna tour a French castle and are drawn towards a bathing basin (used for knighting) that's giving a freaky light show. Zoom! The girls find themselves warped to another time where they're immediately captured by the Baron Peregrine and his acomplice Abbott Columbo. (Hawk and Dove). ;) So, the baron takes them to Ferrium with the plan to feed them to the metal dragon and forge a contract. The Dragon agrees and is about to eat the girls when a myseterious elven kid snatches them away and rescues them. The kid seems friendly and introduces himself as Glaraphim, an elf of Light. He starts leading the girls to Sereenis'la the capital of Luxior. Glaraphim leaves them to announce them to the High Elf when a sentry finds them. He escorts them to the Council Chambers where they meet Lucifer again! Lucifer is the High elf and we find out that he's Glaraphim's father, much to Cecilia's disappointment. (Darn...he's taken). Lucifer takes them to a vision pool and tells them what's going on and what they can do. Brianna is eager, but Cecilia is dubious.
Chapter Six: Clam-- So, it ends up Cecilia and Brianna are sent on their way to deliver the quest. Cecilia is not too hyped up about this and loudly whines about not knowing what the heck they're suppose to do. Glaraphim, who has become their guide for now, tells them to hush up since he suspects they are being hunted. The small group reaches the borders of a tiny village just beyond Blanche pass. Glaraphim encourages the girls to summon the familiars to be their guides, but as Ceese points out, they really don't know what he's talking about. Suddenly, their small party is attacked by the Baron's trusty Hawk. The girls successfully summon the familiars who then become their new rides. (Glar just goes home). They catch up with the knights at an inn and Cecilia is unpleasantly shocked by some new company of Antoine's. (Bad Twon!) Seb and Bree enjoy their reunion until Ceese grumpily comes back and throws Antoine's ring away. Owner of said ring, barges in thinking someone has attacked his brother only to find Bree and Ceese and his buddy Renard!! Cecilia is less than amused, blows up and leaves to cry a bit. While venting her emotions to herself, she is overheard by a Fire elf. This guy claims to have been looking for her and therefore takes her away. But can this elf dude really be trusted? Cecilia goes along with him, since he was planning to take her anyway, Ceese also moans how much she hates this place. While they're leaving, a dark woman in the shadows watches them leave. Dun dun dunnnn!
