The Rose Empire, also known as Verim is the starting location in this story. The entire upper body of the continent is mountain, making this empire very rich in resources. The world itself is composed mainly of Dwarves. Making Verim densely populated with Dwarves and the entire economy being ran on mineral exchange. Most towns are mining villages on the outskirts of the Rose Empire. Though villages that reside next to mountainsides have many strange and mysterious occurances around them.
Folk lore says that within the mountains of Verim somewhere is a lost temple of the dead. Obviously sounding evil, the lore explains the temple was actually peaceful and mainly neutral. It was said that at one time there was a great necromancer's cult that lived within the temple, but during the end of the Elder wars the cult was no where to be found. Those that have come across this hidden temple have only returned to warn others never to search for it, saying that the demons of the old lurk deep within the labrynths of the ancient temple.
Other folk lores go on about one of the ancient Dragon lords living within the mountains, guarding treasures and weapons from the days of the Elder war. This is not so much of a lore, according to the Rose Empire the dragon does still exist and does reside somewhere within the mountains, but while giving this information out freely they blocked off all passage ways that could possibly lead to the dragon's lair, killing any who try to enter.
As for the Rose Empire, they run on a Monarchy style government, the main office of the empire is located in the center of the Rose Empire. There are seven main cities within the Rose Empire all revoling around the one major city, they revolve around the city in the shape of a compass's directions. So, there is the Northern Kingdom, North-Eastern Kingdm, Eastern Kingdom, South-Eastern Kingdom, South Kingdom, South-Western Kingdom, Western Kingdom, and North-Western Kingdom.
The Rose Empire is allied with the dictatorship styled government of Nerano, led by the strict, but just Orion. Orion is one of the fabled Dragon lords and has no peers worthy of challenge.

Story Line
After the end of the long and painful Elder Wars, the remaining nations began to form into their present selves. Two continents remained scorched by war, Milveria and Swar En-Val. As for the other two continents, Verim and Nerano; Verim became a strong mining empire, as Nerano became a very political, but militant Empire. Verim was led by Emperor Dranin Nives as Nerano was led by Orion, the Black Dragon Lord.
These two became the main powers within the world of Derinval, until the day of the Orcish slave masters.
An unusual sorcerer named Lev-Set had discovered a new means of enslavement by twisting the magical properties of strange pink stones that were found in dragon lairs.
He soon enslaved all of Milveria, the desert continent with the loyality of every orc tribe on the desolated continent. Finding that he could not completely control Milveria until he had captured the Red Dragon lord Merim he set out on a year long campaign to capture the renegade dragon that had been causing uprisings within his domain. He soon captured the rebellious dragon and enslaved it with the control braclets he had crafted with the pink gems.
This is when Lev-Set became a true threat to the world, with the captured red dragon lord on his side, he now controlled every red dragon that existed before her capture.
His armies grew large enough for him to consider invading Verim....
In the year 4001 A.H. the Slave master Lev-Set invaded Verim and destroyed the mining town of Ranish....This is where the story begins as the group of heroes brought together by fate esacpe the hands of death.
