Story:
My future husband, Vin Diesel, plays action seeker, Xander Cage, who lives his life as a string of extreme stunts. These stunts of course do not impress the police, so when Sammy L tells him he has two options, go to jail or become a secret agent for the NSA (yes its that easy!) our hero chooses to help save the world (well duh!!). So Xander travels to Prague to infiltrate himself into the baddie's gang (too easy again!) and becomes buds with the head russian (played by a Kiwi) baddie Yorgi and of course falls in luurrve with the dude's russian (played by an Italian) girlfriend, Yelena. Yorgi Bear decides to unleash chemical warfare on the world, unless of course our boy Vin can stop him!
Critique:
I thought it was excellent!! The stunts were amazing (although the snowboarding in front of the avalanche did start getting a bit ridiculous after the first couple of minutes). What I didn't buy was the romance angle - talk about no chemistry between the two leads. Also I thought the baddie could have been a bit more charasmatic and his reason for destroying the world was a bit lame. So I guess basically the storyline wasn't great. But its a fun movie. Its got mega action and cool one liners ("Dude you have a bazooka? Stop thinking cop and start thinking playstation... Blow shit up!!) not to mention Vin Diesel. He's definately going to be (if he isn't already) an action star of the future. B-bye Arnie, Bruce, Sly, Hello Vin!
