| My 1st Flickerstick show in almost a year! This time I was in the UK Street Team which that not only was I on the guest list , (enabling me to get in for free!!!) but I also got in the venue early (to set up the street team table). This meant that I was able to see the soundcheck and meet the band before the show!!!!!!!!!! |
| Fletcher was the 1st over. He was complaining about the killer hangover he had from drinkin Stella in Leicester, this lead to me ribbing him all night, askin if he wanted a Stella etc! LOL Brandin came over later, and as you can see on your left, I got him and the rest of the band to sign my unused ticket :) |
| The show was amazin as usual, kickin off with Believe, which last year was a new song(!), this was followed by plenty of new songs including the eagerly awaited Pistol In My Hand. One of the UK street team members had got hold of a copy of them playing it in the US 2 years ago. Rumour has it that they'd forgotten how to play it, and had learnt it from this MP3 that was floating around on the net. We got the feeling they were playing it for us UK fans as we'd kicked up such a fuss over the song on the flickerstickfans messageboard for months. The song wasn't played in the US until after this tour! |
| After the show the band did what they do best when not on stage,.....get drunk!!!!! |
| I had to carry Cory down Oxford road, so funny!! He was in the middle of the road play wrestlin with one of the street team members at one point!!!! |
| We eventually ended up in a rock bar called Jilly's, where we continued to get wasted with the band!!! |
