| Dear Friends, I know you are all good people and chain letters like these make us feel sympathy and guilt if we do not pass them on. However, you should know that this letter and letters like the are HOAXES! The American Cancer Society NEVER endorses chain letters and three cents will NOT be donated. In addition, these types of letters can actually damage donations to the American Cancer Society and other charitable institutions. These hoaxes are designed to clog up the Internet, slow down business, and just wreak havoc. Please, do not forward chain letters. Just use your search engine. Finally, go to the page below and read a statement from the American Cancer Society, along with ANOTHER hoax letter they have posted.
