The Fletcher Senators (6-7) trounced on the Ed White Commanders tonight at Ed White.  The Senators really got their bats going and never slowed them down, especially in the top of the sixth inning when they scored eight runs.  Fletcher was lead offensively by leftfielder Griffin Brown who went 3 for 3 with a double and two RBIs.  Jason Hiers and Marshall Deal also added with home runs and Devin Gonzalez had two hits including a double.  Fletcher starter Kip Lane (3-2) pitched 4 1/3 innings, earning his third win of the season.  Senior Chris Zambelli (1 save) pitched the final 1 2/3 innings before the game was called due to the mercy rule.  This was a big district win as well as a huge confidence builder for Fletcher that will hopefully jump start a huge 2nd half of the season leading into the tournaments.
