Parker 12 - Fletcher 2

The Terry Parker Braves demolished the Fletcher Senators (5-6) tonight at Howard May Field.  Parker got off to a fast start scoring seven runs in the first inning and three in the second.  Fletcher scored their only two runs in the top of the second, in part due to Jason Hiers hitting his first triple of the year.  But that was just about the only positive's the Senators can come out of this game with.  Fletcher starter Kip Lane (2-2) took the loss.  Senior Chris Zambelli pitched the second inning through the start of the fifth when he gave way to Marshall Deal.  This was a big loss for Fletcher cause they are now 1-4 in the district and are going to really have to fight back for a chance at a good seed in the district tournament.  The Senators look to find their form next Tuesday when they take on the Bartram Trail Bears.
