Parker 2 - Fletcher 1

The Senators (0-1) lost in a close one to the Terry Parker Braves (2-0) tonight at Frank Hoye Field.  Junior Jason Sowers (0-1) took the loss, but the ace really pitched his heart out.  Neither of the runs he gave up were earned and was always forcing weakly hit balls by the Parker batters.  Fletcher never could really get the bats going.  Sowers had a single in the first and Justin Preckajlo, a sophomore, also had a single that drove in their single run.  This was a tough loss for Fletcher because it starts them off with a loss in the district.  They need to bounce back versus another district rival, Englewood.
