Eagle's View 11 - Fletcher 5

The Eagle's View Academy (5-4) was able to hold back Fletcher's (3-4) comeback attempt today at Frank Hoye Field.  The Warriors scored five runs off Fletcher starter Jason Hiers in his three innings of work.  Fletcher started to comeback when Griffin Brown hit a home run to get the Senators within a run, then later tied the score when Mikey Braswell scored on a passed ball.  Fletcher kept the game tied with good pitching from Chris Zambelli (0-1), but back-to-back errors and some clutch hitting by Eagle's View in the seventh broke the 5-5 tie.  They ended up scoring six runs that inning, putting Fletcher away and putting themselves in the tournament championship.  Fletcher will play the winner of the Baker County - Stanton game tomorrow at 4 PM and the winner of that game plays Eagle's View for the championship.
