The Project Years
Here's my fuzzy tale of a man and his motorcycle. The story starts off as: "a man gets laid off for the first time in his life, then turns back into a boy. The boy, wandering, purchases the first motorcycle that comes his way (with the excuse that it seems... "retro")... Sounds like a neato-mosquito book, huh? Or, not. Any way, I bought this crappy little bike that I thought I could make something out of. Turns out... I've done a lot of work but it's the same bike as I started with. Follow along if you care.
She's back together... but had some issues with keeping her charged up. That means it's very difficult to start. Also, after I put it all back together (and torqued down ALMOST all the nut-n-bolts) I happened to lose an engine mount somewhere out on the open road. Nice! So, I now need to get a new battery, fabricate an engine mount, and put some new tires on! Then, she's... good... to... go!
PS I've since learned that it is illeagal outside the state of CA to "lane split." Oops!
