Here are our latest photo's from out in the field near Stanton AZ

Mini/Mini trommel finished and ready for testing.

Loaded ATV with water, trommel, recirculating tank.

Here setup and moving dirt through electric trommel.

Ran the trommel for a few hours with no major problems.

Why even the gold gal liked using it.

I tried to recirculate at one site but needed better pump filter.

When we arrived at Stanton there was no water to be found. So, I tried my luck metal detecting with only nails, bullets, and pieces of rusty tin cans to be found. I know there is big gold out there. I see it come into camp in the evenings usually with the Mine-Lab guys. They are very secretive to their nugget patch locations and rightfully so. But Guy, Rick, Duane, and Eddie you can tell me where. I won't tell. ;-) I did a little drywashing and a lot of ATV exploring then it rained! It rained just enough to stop the drywashing and for a couple pools of water to form. Not exactly where you would want them, but I wanted to run my Mini-Mini trommel and I did. The Mini-Mini performed very well, the only thing I will change is the fuse protection. I am going to change to a circuit breaker. I found if you get wild and throw over the hopper large rocks can and will lock up the barrel on the side it is turning to and blow a fuse. I only had 5 fuses and went through 2 of them in short order. After I knew about this, it was just a matter of being careful with the shovel and no problem. On one occasion I under shot the hopper and threw rocks into the motor and chain, it locked up again, another blown fuse. I spent the rest of the time being more careful and no more blown fuses. Next time out a circuit breaker and a motor/chain cover will be installed. The little time spent in an undesirable location did produce some gold but not much, below is what the Gold Gal and I got ..... Bill
