Born to the Family of Park and Toddy Atkins , of Bajor , Shaun always had the eye for the stars. He also had the the initiative to communicate with his fellow natives on Bajor.

The Oldest of five, Shaun had to help with the younger children. His mother Toddy , and father Park, Owned a Large House in the higher section of the city. He took after his Father in the fields for a while when he was home from starfleet after a day in the office before he was assigned to the Everclear. Shaun helped his mother and sisters with the house work until he was old enough to go to school and later on after graduating from High school, Him and all his siblings went into starfleet, the youngest being a cadet. Finally at the age of 17 he was able to seek his own career and Aim for where his heart was set most, Starfleet command school. Both mother and father proudly encouraged all the kids to join.. He got his first personal tricorder when he was 12.

Aways eager to take the big Chair, Shaun had no difficulty in taking every possibe shortcut and procaution to make sure the crew were safe and clear of danger yet successfully escaping battles in the simulations.. it is not suprising that he was Promoted more and faster then any of his peers for exemplorary service and was top of his Academy Grad class.. he always did like that big chair and strived to get there by any means possible but always took the lives of his peers into heavy consideration.. Once he achieved the big chair itself, Shaun Took on the role of Captain to face that the challenges that awaited him, as well as the fact that he was always Ready for anything which would try to throw him off..

Shaun also enjoyed hanging out with his friends and collegues while on board, and was always there to help his fellow crewmates no matter what their rank was.. He often visited his family on Bajor whenever he had the first possible chance.. His father and mother now reside on Earth although they are seperated and live apart from each other.

During a routine stop at one of the starbases in the Alpha quadrant, he ran into a woman named Heather, who was a Lt. Commander at the time.. eventually, after months of seeing each other while stationed aboard his ship, she eventually married him. She was the Second officer and Chief Operations Manager.. Untill her death of 2379. Widowed now. He finds it hard to work without her.. but presses on for the good of starfleet..

He now has two children of his own, a Boy and a girl.. They age from 3 and a half to 4, and has Three Step Daughters and a foster daughter .. from between the ages of 13 and 25 . He is now happily engaged to a Beautiful woman named Amie Donavin

Born to Lead and Command the finest of starships, Shaun has the Natural Qualities of a Leader..

He also has strong qualities in being effective in conflict and demanding situations ie: combat situations,

Effective and quick thinking...excellent communcation skills..

also being a family man has made him treat those under him.. like a parent.. that allows his crew to grow and develope.. with guidance but not dictatorship..

He Always states that the voice from those in his command is as equal as his own.
