| Flashcards I made bear face shaped flashcards. One for each feeling. I colored the facial expression on one side and wrote the feeling on the back. I also made rectangle shaped flashcards with a little bear face and the feeling. They match these in a pocket chart. Stick Puppet Cut a bear from construction paper or poster board. Tape a stick to the back to make a stick puppet. They can make several with different facial expressions and use them to talk about feelings. Math Ideas 1. Make patterns using bears. 2. Make bears in different colors to use as color flashcards. 3. Graph the color of bears. I like to cut them using die cutters and put them on a graph board. 4. Make up bear addition or subtraction stories using toy or paper bears. |
