A Portrait of Lincoln's Inn
Published: June 2007
"Lincoln’s
Inn, one of London’s famous legal Inns of Court, is a remarkable
community that has thrived for six hundred years. This celebratory
volume, attractively illustrated and handsomely produced, not only
records the splendours of the Inn’s art and architecture, its history
and traditions, but also aims to capture something of the spirit of the
Inn as a living and working community of lawyers…"
A
particular feature of the book is the chapter ‘Alumni Around the
World’, which celebrates our overseas connections, past and present,
with contributions from those who have now reached the highest levels
in the profession in their home countries as well as from recent
graduates who value the stepping stone the Inn has provided them at the
start of their careers. There are few corners of the world where Lincoln’s Inn is not represented.
