Unfortunately, when you are dealing with a subject as broad as one of the most famous classical music composers of all time, and comparing it to one of the best critcally received movies of all time, you are bound to find that you are treading where others have gone before.  In my recent research , I have come upon several other websites which dicuss the fact and the fiction of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus.  My only claim to being in any way exceptional is that the bulk of my text was written originally in November and December of 1984, and probably predates most of these other websites.  The inference is not that my site is better than any other; I'm only saying I did not plagiarize from them.  All my sources are listed on the Bibliography Page.  Obviously there is much interest in this topic, so I am providing links to a few of the many similar Amadeus sites, should anyone want to do further research or to see if I missed any crucial points.
